Welcome to Term 3. This term is very exciting - we have lots of things happening.
Our inquiry topic for this term is: Step up, step out. Why dance? We had a disco this week so we could have a go at dancing ourselves. It was a lot of FUN!!
This week is also Maori language week. We have been learning new words in Room 6. Why don't you come by and ask us to share them with you? We are going to carry on learning a new word a day until the end of the term - by then we will know 50 new words to say!!
Kowhai team was lucky enough to have Ronald McDonald come and teach us how to be safe around the road. We talked about wearing seatbelts, sneaky driveways, pedestrian crossings and walking on the footpath away from the road. Georgia even helped Ronald to find his missing sock!
